Do you tip your waxer at European Wax Center? ›

Cash and credit card tips are both accepted. Tips from guest in cat are given to your wax associate. If they tip on the card, it goes straight to their paycheck!

Our Unique Comfort Wax®

Additionally, Comfort Wax® is an alcohol-free, hard wax that doesn't adhere to the skin.

We use our proprietary hard, stripless wax made exclusively for European Wax Center called Comfort Wax®. First, we cleanse the area to remove any makeup, oils or lotions that could prevent the quality of your wax from taking place. Next, we protect the skin with our soothing pre-wax oil. Then, it's time for your wax!

Can hair be too long to wax? ›

Up to 1/2 inch should be fine. If your hair is any longer you may feel some discomfort when the wax is applied. It will also make it trickier for your therapist to get the job done. Trim excess hair down beforehand or shave and wait a couple of weeks for it to grow back before returning to the salon.

One of the biggest benefits of hot wax, is that it is less painful than strip waxing. This is because hot wax adheres only to the hair and not the skin. Our Signature Collection Candles are considered vegetable wax candles. Although soy is an ingredient, our candles are not considered soy candles.
